      Spiritism is a doctrine that has its foundation in the relationship between the material world and spirits, i.e., the beings of the invisible world. We designate the followers of the Spiritist Doctrine then as Spiritists.

The Spiritist Doctrine is the new body of principles that reveals, through indisputable evidence, the existence and nature of the spirit world and its relationship to the material one. The spirit world is presented not as a supernatural element but as one of the living and active forces of Nature, the source of a vast number of phenomena that even today we don't understand and so relegate to the realm of fantasy or miracles. Christ hinted as such a development on several occasions, and it is because He only hinted that many of the things He said have remained beyond our grasp or been wrongly interpreted. The Spiritist Doctrine offers a key that will help explain all these matters.

The Dante Labbate Spiritist Library was founded on March 16, 2008. All materials being checked out are free of charge. All residents of Charlotte interested in being a member of the Spiritist Library need to bring with them the following documents: 1 copy of a valid ID with photo and 1copy of proof of residenca with the applicant's name. The membership is free of charge.

We are accepting donations of spirist materials in diverse langauges (books, magazines, DVD's, CD's and etc.). They will be accessible to everyone interested in the study of the Spiritist Doctrine.
